State Street Corp.

State Street Corp. has announced that Vincent Lepore has left the firm’s managed account servicing effort after just three months. The group’s duties included providing back-office services to managers and sponsors. Meg Kelleher will take over Lepore’s responsibilities on an interim basis.

Pioneer Investment Management

Pioneer Investment Management has tapped Osbert Hood as its new president and CEO, following the departure of Dan Geraci last month. Hood, who joined Pioneer in November of 2000, was formerly the firm’s chief operating officer.

PFPC has selected Albert Marazza to fill the newly created position of vice president of sales in the firm’s fund start-up unit. Marazza was previously a hedge fund analyst with Berens Capital Management.

Delaware Investments

Will Bashan has joined Delaware Investments as executive vice president of retail services overseeing its mutual fund, 401(k), and 529 college savings product lines. Bashan comes from CIGNA Heathcare of New England where he was president.

JPMorgan Fleming Asset Management

JPMorgan Fleming Asset Management announced that Paul Zemsky, managing director and portfolio manager in the U.S. Fixed Income Group, has left the firm in order to start a hedge fund.

TIAA-CREF

Elizabeth Fender, director of corporate governance with TIAA-CREF, has resigned from her duties as of May 29th. Fender has spent the last two years at the firm. A spokesman for the firm stated that they intend to name a successor within the next month or two.

Schroders Asset Management

Richard Watt was hired by Schroders Asset Management as the new executive vice president of client service and development. Watt was previously managing director, head of global emerging markets group at Credit Suisse Asset Management.
