Susan Crawshaw will serve as executive director, director of marketing and marketing services for Van Kampen. Before joining Van Kampen, Crawshaw served as managing director and head of retail marketing for Scudder Investments.

Pacific Life Insurance Co.

In a round of promotions, Pacific Life has promoted Donald Downing as field vice president, Christina Sumpter as senior vice president of operations in the group insurance division; Robert Hempstead will serve as assistant vice president of valuation actuary and Reed Lloyd will be assistant vice president of advanced marketing. In addition, Eddie Tung will serve as an assistant vice president of regulatory products accounting and Daniel Johnson will be appointed assistant vice president of stop loss products. Rounding out the promotions, Peter Tseng will be the new assistant vice president on the information technology department.
