CDC Ixis Asset Management

Jeffrey Coron joins CDC Ixis Asset Management as senior vice president, national sales manager of separate accounts. This newly created position will report directly to Matt Witkos, president of separate accounts. Coron previously was national sales director in the managed solutions group at Merrill Lynch.

Manulife USA

James R. Boyle has been named president of individual wealth management at Manulife USA. The division was created during the firm’s recent reorganization and will include annuities, 529 college savings plans and separately managed accounts. Boyle will continue as president of Manulife’s U.S. annuities.

Gordon Henderson and Greg Vigrass have joined Foliofn’s institutional division to grow its business with financial firms and advisors. Henderson joins as president and Vigrass is vice president of institutional sales.

Fred Alger Management

Jim Mullery is joining the firm in a newly created position as the executive in charge of distribution for all of Fred Alger Management’s investment products and capabilities. He will oversee the organization of all of the firm’s resources dedicated to distribution of its products. Mullery was previously the head of investment solutions, i.e. gatekeeper, for UBS PaineWebber. Ian MacEachern has been named as director of mutual funds and will assume Mullery’s responsibilities at UBS.

David L Babson

William Glavin will soon start as the chief operating officer of David L Babson, an investment management subsidiary of MassMutual. Glavin was president of Scudder Funds.

Steve Fisher will join New York Life Investment Management as the head of its retail product development. Steve is departing UBS Global Asset Management, where he was managing director and head of product development. Prior to UBS, Steve was president of investment services at Morningstar.

Terry Gallagher has been named president of Precision Distributors, the broker/dealer affiliate of Precision Marketing Partners. Jack Van Dyke also joins Precision Marketing Partners as the national director of business development.
