AXA Rosenberg: Heidi Ridley , formerly senior vice president with Wells Fargo , will now lead AXA Rosenberg's fund distribution efforts. Her position, managing director of fund distribution, is a new title at the company. Ridley will report to Rosenberg's marketing and client services director, Jennie Patterson. Banc One: David Donovan will take over as the new chief of Banc One's private client services group. Former division chief, Peter Atwater, will stay on at Banc One in a currently undetermined capacity. [FundFire, February 14]

Banc of America Capital Management: Bonnie Benhayon, a former head of marketing for Fidelity Investments, has joined Banc of America Capital Management as director of business services. [FundFire, February 14]

CDC IXIS Asset Management: Steve Evitts, former senior investment product manager at Columbia Asset Management, has joined CDC IXIS as vice president of product development. [Ignites.com January 30]

CheckFree Investment Services: Tom Steinberger has joined the company to take charge of their M-Solutions division. Steinberger was senior vice president and COO of multi-manager investment advisory services with JP Morgan Private Bank. He will report to Alex Marasco, executive V.P. and general manager. Credit Suisse Asset Management: Jack DiMaio, head of fixed income for North America at Credit Suisse First Boston, is moving to sister firm Credit Suisse Asset Management to take a senior global position. [Fund Action, February 12]

E*Trade: Mitchell Caplan has been named CEO of E*Trade following the resignation of Christos M. Cotsakos. Caplan, in addition to his new responsibilities, will continue to serve as President. [Dow Jones News Service January 24]

Gartmore Global Investments: Bill Santos resigned from Montgomery Asset Management on January 17th to join Gartmore Global Investments. [FundMarketing.com January 26]

Invesco Funds Group: Ray Cunningham, President, has been named CEO. Cunningham assumes the title from Mark Williamson, who has been appointed CEO of AIM. [Ignites.com January 24]

Lincoln Financial Distributors: A former executive with Zurich Kemper Life, Gregory Smith has taken a position with Lincoln Financial Distributors. He will serve as the managing director overseeing bank distribution. [Ignites.com January 30]

Metavante Corp: Marshall & Isley Corp.'s technology subsidiary, Metavante Corp. has hired Douglas Smith as VP and general manager for its trust processing and 401 (k) services. [Mutual Fund Marketing News, January 20]

Minnesota Life: Edward Eller, a 17 year Minnesota Life veteran, has been promoted to national sales manager of insurance products, a position created to provide sales strategies throughout the country. [Ignites.com January 30]

Old Mutual: As new director of marketing, Rose Turiello Mion's task is to coordinate marketing efforts for the group's various investment firms in the mutual fund, managed accounts, and subadvisory channels. She will assess the needs of the group and build out the team as necessary. Mion comes from Putnam Investments, where she was manager of defined contribution marketing. [Fundfire.com, March 7]

PricewaterhouseCoopers: Martin Jennings will replace Philip Mannino as managing partner of the New York investment management group. Mannino will retire in June. Jennings presently works as the group's risk management director. [Ignites.com, February 20]

Prudential Investments: Janet Mariconti recently left her role as VP and director of business development at Neuberger Berman and will join Prudential Investments as senior VP. [Ignites.com January 24]

Salomon Smith Barney: Norman Nabhan has been promoted to national director of the firm's consulting group. He will be responsible for the group's institutional initiatives and the Smith Barney Corporate Trust Company. [FundFire, February 14]

SunLife: Robert Salipante, a former ING executive, will join SunLife, assuming James McNulty III's position as president of U.S. operations. The new president will be based in Massachusetts, and will report to the president and COO of Sun Life Financial, C. James Prieur. [Ignites.com, February 20]

Transamerica: Kent Callahan has been appointed president and CEO of the retirement services division. Most recently, Callahan served as senior vice president of business development and marketing. Callahan replaces Tom Schlossberg, who has taken a position heading up Aegon USA's pension group. [Ignites.com, February 20]
