New MFC feature permits visitors to search jobs on 500+ web sites

Until now, job seekers in the mutual fund industry have had to login to numerous web sites in order to find jobs posted online. But that changed as of June 1, when Mutual Fund Careers became the first financial job portal to incorporate a powerful new search tool, powered by Indeed.

With the Indeed search area, job seekers who are registered with the site* can search for jobs by category, location, keyword or phrase. The service currently displays more than 10,000 mutual fund-related jobs around the U.S. Information on these --along with the approximately 150 jobs posted directly on Mutual Fund Careers—will now be available through the site.

A recent survey conducted by D.M.R. in partnership with NICSA and sponsored by PA Compliance and SalesLink showed that nearly one third of industry professionals at all levels commonly view and apply for jobs posted online.
