Job Title: External Wholesaler/Managing Director, Business Development Mid-Atlantic Region (Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Tennessee)
Reports to: National Sales Manager
Position Location: Open (Atlanta preferred)
Full-Time or Part-Time: Full-Time
Salary: Base salary commensurate with experience plus commission and profit sharing
The Opportunity:
Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), wire houses, independent broker dealers, trust companies, family offices and consultants.
Accomplished through a consultative sales approach, meetings, seminars and conferences.
Strategically plan and manage the deployment of resources to maximize territorial sales.
Work with an Internal Wholesaler to identify and foster leads.

| Qualifications |
Background Requirements:
Bachelors degree
Advanced designations (CFA, CFP, CIMA) a plus
Established contact with RIAs in territory preferred
Substantial investment knowledge and ability to work effectively with sub advisors
Ability to deliver effective presentations to current and prospective clients
Thorough knowledge of sales and marketing principles and practices
Strong ability to work independently and to communicate clearly and concisely
Proven ability in growing a territory as measured by sales and persistency of business
5-7 years experience in the investment industry and 3-5 years of wholesaling experience.
Required to travel extensively in the field, approximately 75% of the time
Required licenses: Series 6 or 7 and Series 63 or 66
Proficient in MS Office and knowledge of MARS CRM system a plus
