Job Title: External Wholesaler/Managing Director, Business Development – Mid-Atlantic Region (Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Tennessee)

Reports to: National Sales Manager

Position Location: Open (Atlanta preferred)

Full-Time or Part-Time: Full-Time

Salary: Base salary commensurate with experience plus commission and profit sharing

The Opportunity:

•  Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), wire houses, independent broker dealers, trust companies, family offices and consultants.

•  Accomplished through a consultative sales approach, meetings, seminars and conferences.

•  Strategically plan and manage the deployment of resources to maximize territorial sales.

•  Work with an Internal Wholesaler to identify and foster leads.

Qualifications
Background Requirements:

•  Bachelor’s degree

•  Advanced designations (CFA, CFP, CIMA) a plus

•  Established contact with RIAs in territory preferred

•  Substantial investment knowledge and ability to work effectively with sub advisors

•  Ability to deliver effective presentations to current and prospective clients

•  Thorough knowledge of sales and marketing principles and practices

•  Strong ability to work independently and to communicate clearly and concisely

•  Proven ability in growing a territory as measured by sales and persistency of business

•  5-7 years’ experience in the investment industry and 3-5 years of wholesaling experience.

•  Required to travel extensively in the field, approximately 75% of the time

•  Required licenses: Series 6 or 7 and Series 63 or 66

•  Proficient in MS Office and knowledge of MARS CRM system a plus
